Summer vibes on the water
Visit Flanders asked us to design a series of events highlighting the waterways in Southwest-Flanders. We chose to develop a pleasant and summerly event along the river 'De Leie', where our Festive Creators looked for the best spots to unwind. Instead of settling down along the water, we thought: why not relax on the water? So we got creative! We worked out a concept of floating barrels and combined it with some food and drinks. What more does anyone need on a bright summer day?
Visit Flanders wanted to highlight the waterways of Southwest Flanders in an original and experience-driven way. The challenge was to create a summer event that was not only visually appealing, but also encouraged guests to truly engage with the water. The concept needed to feel accessible, relaxing and refreshingly different.
Festor created a unique and creative event concept that placed the river at the heart of the experience. By introducing floating barrels, the Leie became an active part of the event rather than just a backdrop. Combined with carefully selected food and drinks, this resulted in a laid-back summer atmosphere that perfectly captured the spirit of the location.
